Our soaps are handmade in Inishowen and carefully formulated to include moisturising and cleansing oils that nourish the skin and guarantee a luxurious bathing experience. These soaps help maintain your skin’s natural pH balance and hydration.

Hand-made by Brian McDonald- Traditional  Boatmaker in Greencastle, Co. Donegal Ireland. These beautiful wooden soap holders create a dry and airy surface for the correct storage of your Notions & Lotions soaps. 

The self-draining soap dish is made from hard teak wood which Brian has produced from recycled offcuts at his boatyard to allow a sustainable solution for material sourcing and use. A truly zero-waste product.

Brian McDonald’s family has worked at boatbuilding in the area around Greencastle for six generations. McDonald's are renowned as some of the finest boat builders in Ireland, as well as beyond our shores famous for the Foyle Punt represented at many a regatta.
