Originating in the 18th century, the Dexter cow is a dual-purpose breed, native to Ireland. The cow was created by a Mr. Dexter in County Tipperary from the Kerry and Mountain cattle, and was once known as the cottier cow or poor man's cow. They thrive on low-quality pastures and have a unique flavor due to their diet of weeds and unwanted vegetation, leading to marbling reminiscent of a "spider." This has made Dexter Cattle popular for conservation grazing in the UK and parts of Ireland. Their naturally tender beef also contains a high level of Omega-3 fatty acids. They are the epitome of truly free range and require minimal veterinary attention and living on grass year-round.

Packed with essential vitamins and beneficial fatty acids, grass fed beef tallow is a powerful moisturiser that naturally revitalises dry and dull skin. It soothes eczema and rosacea prone skin, chronically dry skin and gives long term anti-aging benefits.  Its unique composition mimics that of human skin, making it compatible with all skin types. Plus, with a low comedogenic score, it won't clog pores!

We take care to render our tallow in small batches at low temperatures, preserving its natural nutrients and enzymes. We are proud to say that our formula has no added preservatives or chemicals, ensuring a completely pure and unadulterated product with a naturally long shelf life. This formulation includes shea butter, vitamin E oil, essential oils and arrowroot powder to complement the natural tallow for a deeply moisturising experience.

💜 Lavender: a lovely calming scent this balm helps reduce inflammation and balance sebum production, promoting clearer, healthier skin.

Usage Instructions: This whipped tallow balm is a must-have for anyone looking to soothe and nourish their skin. With natural ingredients and easy application, it can be applied to damp skin after washing and is safe for use on the body and face. Its gentle formula makes it perfect for nightly use, and it's even safe for those with sensitive skin. Simply store below 30˚C, avoid contamination with water/unclean hands and patch test for allergies before use.
